Stripe is Expanding

Stripe is Expanding

blog-jan-24-2017-01

Hi Everyone! Great news for a number of our members around the world. Stripe has just expanded their service offerings to quite a few new countries. Take a look at the full list of updates below:

  • Teachers located in New Zealand, Brazil, Hong Kong , Portugal and Sweden can now connect their My Music Staff accounts with Stripe for online payments.
  • We’ve updated the mileage tracker interface so that a message box appears while your GPS coordinates are being located.
  • We resolved an issue that would cause the Family Account Details page to scroll horizontally on mobile devices.
  • In both the Student and Families list pages, Inactive students (and families) are now displayed in italics making them easier to distinguish from active families.
  • Invoices are now available in Dutch. (Select the correct “Region” in your Studio Settings to use these invoices.)
  • We fixed an issue with the Webpage Reorder feature that would prevent the mouse from working on touch enabled laptops. Now you can use both the mouse or your touchscreen if your device has both.
  • When updating/editing a password, the “Passwords Do Not Match” text no longer appears when you’ve only entered the first password.
  • We’ve added two new columns to the Student Details page. “Next Lesson” and “Last Lesson” can be found by clicking the “Visible Columns” and selecting them from the drop-down.

Did you know? You can now remove the Login Widget from your My Music Staff hosted website’s sidebar. This is great for teachers who aren’t using the Student Portal, but still wish to use the Sidebar. We also added a new “Login” page template that automatically displays the login widget in the center of the page.

  1. Would love to see auto generation of mileage for repeated trips. When students cancel I have to go into mileage and make it match. And a start gps button on the main dashboard would be great. Too many clicks to get to it.

    • I agree with the suggested improvements on the Mileage tracker. I find it annoying that my phone has to stay active and th page opened in order to track the mileage. A GPS start, pause, resume, stop system would be so appreciated!!

      • Hi Jia-Min! You don’t need to leave My Music Staff open to use this feature, so you can use your phone for navigation or other things during your trip. You can even turn your phone off. You just need to tap the GPS icon to begin your trip and then tap it again to stop the tracker once you reach your destination. If you require additional assistance, our support team would be happy to help. They can be reached by email at support@mymusicstaff.com.
