The Summer of Packages 

With Lesson Packages you can expect the following exciting updates: 

• Sell a package with a specific value of time that your families can use towards private lessons, group lessons & more! 
• Ability to create package templates for your commonly sold lesson packages 
• Track your package time automatically and see how much is left 
• Brand new Packages icon in the left side menu 
• Brand new “Teachers & Packages” section in the student profile with balance & activity, and package info listed in the teacher profile 
• Ability to add packages while assigning teachers or adding a new student 
• Package is now an option in Families & Invoices under “Add Transaction” 
• Send an invoice for a package immediately after assigning it to a student 
• Student Portal homepage displays current outstanding package balance 

Teachers & Staff

• The Assigned Teachers table now refreshes right away after unassigning a teacher. What you see is what you get! 
• If a teacher doesn’t have any students assigned yet, the default lesson settings set for their first student will automatically become the teacher’s Initial Lesson Settings. One less thing to set up manually! 
• Choosing Don’t Save when closing the Edit Teacher Profile drawer now closes things up cleanly instead of leaving errors behind like confetti after the party. 
• Fixed an issue where updating teacher privileges could incorrectly tell you that your changes weren’t saved, even though they were. No more false alarms! 

 Student Management

• Adding a new student just got a little smoother, with new prompts along the way to quickly assign a teacher and add their first lesson to the Calendar. 
• Student profile photos are now automatically resized to fit neatly inside their profile image container. No more breaking out of frame. 
• Fixed an issue that was preventing inactive families from being selected when adding a new student. 
• You can now search the Student List for students who don’t have a teacher assigned without an error appearing. 
• We’ve renamed Options to Actions for bulk actions. A tiny change that makes things just a little more obvious. 
• The Number of Students column has returned to Student Tags. The count is back, baby! 

Calendar & Attendance

• Adding a lesson and realize you haven’t added the student yet? You can now create a new student directly from the Student/Attendees field in the Quick-Add Lesson and Add New Event drawers. 
• When changing the teacher on a Calendar event, students who aren’t assigned to the new teacher will now be cleared from the drop-down instead of sticking around just to give you an error later. 
• We’ve made it easier for MMS to handle two students with the same name attending the same class. No more identity crisis! 
• Clicking on a Calendar event now shows a handy icon when notes are attached so you can spot them at a glance, no digging required! 
• The prompt to convert a cancelled lesson to an Open Lesson Slot will now only appear if your studio offers Student Portal booking or has a Book from Calendar form active, because an open slot isn’t very useful if nobody can book it! 
• Fixed an issue where Quick-Add Lesson weekly holds in the future were displaying warnings that the event was happening in the past. No time travel required here. 
• Fixed an issue where the Hold this weekly time slot confirmation button could get stuck loading… and loading… and loading. 
• Deleted Calendar categories will no longer come back to haunt the Update Lesson Settings drop-down, even if they’ve been used in the past. 

Billing & Invoicing

• Images pasted into manually sent invoice emails now show up as intended. Picture perfect! 
• Backdated tax changes will now recalculate taxes without unexpectedly reapplying the student’s default pricing. Taxes: yes. Surprise pricing: no. 

Website Builder

• Fixed an issue where the Widgets Configuration page temporarily went MIA. It’s back where it belongs! 
• Sign-up forms no longer freeze when adding a second student. Siblings may now coexist peacefully. 
• Required custom fields on website forms no longer auto-fill and submit as “Not Provided.” Forms have been reminded that “required” means required. 

General/Other

• Repertoire can now be viewed right from the Home Agenda! Staff without the editing privileges can still take a peek (it’ll just be read-only) 
• Adding more teachers to your MMS membership now automatically refreshes your account to include the Teachers & Staff page right away. No refresh button required! 
• Social Links have packed their bags and moved from Website Builder to Business Settings, making them easier for everyone to find and manage 
• Zapier’s Attendance Taken trigger now works correctly when a lesson is cancelled through the Student Portal. 
• Adding something to your Lending Library? We’ll now let you know when you’ve exceeded the character limit for the smaller fields instead of leaving you guessing. 
• The checkbox to overwrite an existing custom email template now does exactly what it says on the tin without freezing along the way. 
• Enabling two-factor authentication from My Profile no longer freezes the page. Security without the suspense! 
• When browsing Online Resources from the Student Portal, your browser’s Back button now takes you to the page you were actually just on instead of sending you all the way Home. 
• Various cosmetic tweaks throughout. ✨
