That&#8217;s right &#8211; the upgraded Student Portal has officially launched, and is available in all accounts. You can choose to opt in by clicking the button on your homepage, which will automatically update the Portal for all of your families. But that&#8217;s not all we&#8217;ve been up to! Keep reading for more of our enhancements, additions, and bug fixes:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-ae60e937\"><div class=\"gb-inside-container\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Student Management<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We added a banner to the Family Contacts tab under a student\u2019s profile to let you know if there are other students linked to this family<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When adding a new student, you can now assign multiple teachers with different default pricing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When switching a student\u2019s status from Active to Waiting\/Inactive (or vice versa), the Assigned Teachers tab now automatically refreshes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We\u2019ve made a change so a student\u2019s default lesson length can no longer be set to 0 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When viewing a teacher\u2019s assigned students in their teacher profile, clicking the student\u2019s name will now take you to that student\u2019s profile, with the Assigned Teachers tab open<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When adding a new student, you can now select an existing family with the Waiting status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adult students\u2019 phone numbers now display in the student profile card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When deleting an email from your scheduled queue that\u2019s set to be sent to multiple recipients, you can now choose whether you want to remove the currently selected recipient only, or all recipients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue that would prevent users from deleting several scheduled emails in a row due to the confirmation pop-up not appearing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When removing the only assigned student from a teacher\u2019s profile, it will now immediately show you the empty state message (previously you needed to refresh)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the inline error messages that were immediately appearing under certain fields when assigning a student from a teacher\u2019s profile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the alignment of the student\u2019s average attendance percentage chart<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Calendar &amp; Attendance<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We\u2019ve added an option to edit the attendance &amp; event details when you viewing them from the student\u2019s Attendance &amp; Notes tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We added an auto-save lesson notes feature so you don\u2019t lose any notes you\u2019ve been drafting if you accidentally leave the attendance page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The calendar\u2019s current time in week or day view now uses the time zone set under Business Settings, rather than the device\u2019s time zone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue where emailing group lesson notes to the teacher would send one email per student, instead of one email for the group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We added a banner to warn you if a file you\u2019re trying to upload a file larger than 2GB<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We made a change to the mobile month view to replace the event # label with dots representing the lessons for that day (colors matching the color coding you have set)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When changing from the default calendar view to a different view, it will now remember the view you changed it to until the next time you access your account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue with the third-party text editor that sometimes caused flickering on the attendance page after applying certain formatting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue where the public event description wasn\u2019t visible in some calendar views on mobile &amp; desktop (it\u2019s now visible on all views!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there\u2019s no events scheduled for the day or week, the calendar will scroll to your initial display time setting (there was an issue where this default to 12AM instead, and we hope you\u2019re not teaching at midnight!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We added dashed lines on the calendar in day\/week view to show 15-minute increments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue with the \u201cStudio events left this week\u201d calculation on the homepage that was always counting Sunday at the beginning of the week instead of following the region settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We update the calendar category button to say \u201cEdit\u201d instead of \u201cReset\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We updated how we display average attendance information in a student\u2019s Attendance &amp; Notes tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed a bug where trying to schedule a default lesson with a teacher whose default lesson category had been deleted would cause that event to default to using the birthday category<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed a bug preventing lesson notes from being emailed for private lessons (the \u201cSaving\u2026\u201d button would continue to load without the notes being sent)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We tweaked the spacing on either side of the events in the desktop month view and day view<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When clicking an event\u2019s location to open up the navigation, it will now open up in a new tab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Families &amp; Invoices<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When creating new invoices, the \u201cAll Families\u201d option is now listed first in the Groups selector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We made a change to the font used on invoices so certain currency symbols could be used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We reduced the size of the \u201cSend Invoice\u201d window so it fits on most screen sizes without scrolling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We added the \u201cinvoices being sent\u201d banner to the mobile version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the date range picker in Families &amp; Invoices so the date display on one line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Student Portal<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The new Student Portal is now available! This optional upgrade is available in all studio accounts. If you choose to upgrade, it will immediately apply to all of your studio families\u2019 Portals. You can still opt out under Business Settings to use the old version if you\u2019re not quite ready yet!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed a few issues with the search feature in the calendar, including adding a \u201cShow open lesson slots\u201d option and fixing what displays with the \u201cShow full events\u201d option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We tweaked the alignment of the menu icon in the main navigation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We made a few cosmetic tweaks to the calendar date picker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mobile week view of the calendar now includes the times, which were accidentally left out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public events without the option to allow Student Portal registration no longer display the number of spots available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the spacing around blog titles in the mobile view<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We updated our Student Portal help articles and made a change so they\u2019ll automatically show in the Help Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Business Features<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We\u2019ve added the ability to create a new expense category when you\u2019re recording a payroll payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Expenses &amp; Other Revenue toolbar now remains visible even when you don\u2019t have any transactions available or currently visible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue affecting single teacher accounts, where the Expenses total wasn\u2019t updating correctly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue that preventing the Student Details report from being created<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Learning Management<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We added a \u201cBack to Home\u201d button from the Lending Library when you click a library item from the Home agenda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Home agenda practice summary now shows hours practiced in the last 7 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In single teacher accounts, we added the ability to add a new folder when Online Resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue with the Online Resources drag and drop that wasn\u2019t uploading the files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Other<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We updated a number of links so they can be right-clicked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We made a number of small grammatical changes throughout<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We updated the Email Deliverability Report to provide a helpful message if there\u2019s an error with your SPF Records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the missing navigation arrows from the date pickers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The images menu in the text editor is now displaying correctly when editing a system email template<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We tweaked the screen transitions on certain pages (like multi-step wizards!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the missing file icons when uploading non-image files<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed the \u201cRefer a friend\u201d text under Business Settings, which was getting hidden behind other elements on certain smaller screen sizes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<blockquote><div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you have any questions or require assistance with your account, please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@mymusicstaff.com\">support@mymusicstaff.com<\/a><\/div><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New year, new me, new&#038;#82 &#8230;
