We&#8217;ve said it before but we&#8217;ll say it again &#8211; THANK YOU! &#x1f499; We appreciate you taking the time in your busy teaching schedules to write in with your thoughts so we can make My Music Staff even better. This week&#8217;s roundup of updates includes a number of updates to dialog messages to improve clarity, cosmetic tweaks to make things easier to read at a glance, and more!<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Beta experience updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calendar &amp; Attendance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019ve updated the calendar print options to include \u201cHide empty events\u201d and \u201cHide full events\u201d which are pre-selected to match the current calendar filters you\u2019ve applied<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve added a column to display the student\u2019s age on the student list<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve updated the Present and Absent icons on calendar events to be in green or red instead of the event color to help see current attendance statuses at a glance<\/li>\n<li>We updated the \u201cContinue without saving\u201d dialog that comes up when switching from attendance details to lesson note templates so it now only appears if you\u2019ve started making changes on the attendance page before trying to navigate (e.g. changed attendance status, starting writing lesson notes, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>We updated the dialog when copying notes from the Student History tab into lesson details so you now have the option to overwrite what you\u2019ve already started typing or add the notes at the end<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve updated the dialog for a student\u2019s Practice Log so you can view their notes and attachments for a single entry at once<\/li>\n<li>We updated the message in the Event Details dialog when viewing saved lesson notes &amp; attachments so it\u2019s clear if there were no notes saved<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve added a small pop-up notification when printing lesson notes on an iPad to inform you that they\u2019re ready to print (the previous way of opening in a new tab would get blocked as a pop-up)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Families &amp; Invoices<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We fixed an issue where the distance to an invoice\u2019s due date was incorrectly showing as a decimal<\/li>\n<li>The Family Details card now refreshes automatically once a transaction is deleted so the next invoice total updates with the new balance<\/li>\n<li>\u200b\u200b\u200bThe invoice accent color picker now looks at the existing logo to find color suggestions<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue when editing auto-invoicing settings for postpaid lessons that allowed a billing start date set in the past<\/li>\n<li>We updated the Student dropdown field when adding a new transaction so the \u201cNot Specified\u201d option displays the selection and not just a blank option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General\/Other<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The number of rows displayed will now remain at what you\u2019ve set it to for the entirety of your session, instead of defaulting back to 25 rows when refreshed<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue where members were being logged out automatically instead of remaining signed in during their session<\/li>\n<li>We switched the third-party automated SMS provider for Canadian recipients (no changes are needed on your end, but you may notice these messages are now sent from a different toll-free number!)<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve disabled the Student Portal \u201cEnable access\u201d and \u201cView as student\/parent\u201d buttons for students not set to Active or Trial (since they wouldn\u2019t be able to log in to a Student Portal)<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue where files may not upload successfully if the teacher\u2019s Online Resources space didn\u2019t already include the Lesson Note Attachments folder<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve added a graphic &amp; message when a student has no Family Contacts set up<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve updated Online Resources in multi-teacher accounts so the teacher spaces are now ordered alphabetically<\/li>\n<li>We updated the teacher privileges setting \u201cView student\/parent email addresses\u201d so if this is not enabled, the setting \u201cAllow students to email me from the Practice Log\u201d will be hidden<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve updated the search and filter function on the Students page so Next Lesson and Last Lesson are now sortable, and Groups are searchable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you have any questions or require assistance with your account, please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@mymusicstaff.com\">support@mymusicstaff.com<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our beta testers have bee &#8230;
