Between working on new software updates, preparing for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.namm.org\/summer\/2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Summer NAMM tradeshow<\/a> and playing leapfrog (still kidding!), things in the office have been busy as ever.<\/p>\n<p>Our development team is still working tirelessly to deliver some large-scale, exciting updates that will improve how My Music Staff operates and appears for our users. This week&#8217;s update brings specific improvements to how you receive notifications in your account, and how invoices read regarding teacher substitutions in multi-teacher studios.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2da8e0\"><strong>Here are our latest improvements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\">\n<li>In-App notifications can now be enabled\/disabled when a student joins or cancels a lesson through the student portal. These can be toggled from the Policies tab of the Studio Settings page.<\/li>\n<li>On the Notifications page, the \u201cToggle Read\u201d option now works to\u00a0mark all items as read or unread (rather than just toggling everything that\u2019s selected).<\/li>\n<li>On the Expenses and Other Revenue page, the behavior of sorting by \u201cExpense\u201d and \u201cRevenue\u201d columns has been improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2da8e0\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what we&#8217;ve fixed:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the old sign-up widget that would sometimes (incorrectly) report that a Parent First Name is required, even though it\u2019s an adult student signing up.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed a typo in the default login template.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed a typo in the Student Retention Report (\u201cCancellation Date\u201d was spelled incorrectly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2da8e0\"><strong>For multi teacher studios:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\">\n<li>The Families &amp; Invoices page, and the Invoices themselves now mention when a substitute teacher is scheduled. This makes it easier to correlate events on the schedule with the charges on the Family account.<\/li>\n<li>Autocomplete should now be disabled for all fields on the Teacher details page.
