Hi Everyone! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season! We have quite a large backlog of updates for you this week.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The student, parent and teacher name formats used throughout My Music Staff can now be adjusted from your Studio Settings<\/strong> page (on the Options<\/strong>\u00a0tab). If you’d prefer to see names displays as “First Last<\/strong>“, you can now change this throughout the site.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If your studio is using Auto-Pay<\/strong>, the Invoice Email Template<\/strong> will now automatically replace the “Click here to pay this invoice<\/strong>”\u00a0 link with a message that says “This invoice will be automatically paid using…<\/strong>” if auto-pay is successful. We hope this change will cut down on some of the confusion that families using auto-pay experience when they receive their invoice emails. (Be sure to include the\u00a0%InvoicePayURL%<\/strong> placeholder in your invoice template if you wish to use this feature.)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Add Charge<\/strong> and Add Discount<\/strong> popup now allows you to select families by group (the same way the New Invoice<\/strong> popup does).
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We fixed an issue with the Student Portal<\/strong> calendar that would allow the event popups to get stuck open in some scenarios.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We’ve updated the student list download in Excel format so that “Inactive Date<\/strong>” is now included as a column.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The “Visible Columns<\/strong>” drop-down list now scrolls if you’re on a mobile device so that you can get access to all the items, even if that list is really long.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We corrected a minor issue with the “Events Left this Week<\/strong>” homepage widget that would cause it to show “0\u00a0Events Left This Week<\/strong>” in some circumstances.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you’re using PayPal Pro, the Notification<\/strong> page will now display more helpful text if a payment is declined.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We fixed a few\u00a0display glitches that would cause page layout issues on a handful of devices (mobile and desktop).
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you’re using private calendar notes, the “Expand\/Collapse” button on the homepage will no longer cause the page to “jump” when you click it.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Less spam, more ham: If you’re using a My Music Staff site with a custom domain name, ReCaptcha is now automatically enabled for you. (The option to use custom ReCaptcha keys is no longer needed.)<\/p>\n

Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We’ve added a new option to the calendar filter to hide unused teachers\/locations on the “Day<\/strong>” and “Timeline<\/strong>” views. This option is great for larger studios with part time teachers; clutter is reduced so that teachers who aren’t working on a specific day aren’t shown.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We fixed an issue with the “Search<\/strong>” feature on the Student List<\/strong> page that would cause the teacher filter to re-apply each time you left and returned to the page.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On the Teachers & Admin<\/strong> page, the “First Name<\/strong>” and “Last Name<\/strong>” fields have been combined into one “Name<\/strong>” field.<\/p>\n

Did you know? <\/strong>We\u2019ve added a \u201cLast Paid<\/strong>\u201d column to the Families & Invoices<\/strong> page so that you can more easily identify which families are overdue.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
