{"id":20629,"date":"2015-12-07T15:18:54","date_gmt":"2015-12-07T20:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/?p=20629"},"modified":"2026-03-13T14:43:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T14:43:34","slug":"calendar-agenda-enhancements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/ja\/calendar-agenda-enhancements\/","title":{"rendered":"Calendar and Agenda Enhancements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20657 size-full\" title=\"December 7, 2015 Weekly Updated - My Music Staff\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/msb-blog-December-7-2015.png\" alt=\"December 7, 2015 Weekly Updated - My Music Staff\" width=\"484\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/msb-blog-December-7-2015.png 484w, https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/msb-blog-December-7-2015-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hi\u00a0Everyone,<\/p>\n<p>This week we&#8217;ve got a handful of new features and improvement\u00a0to My Music Staff that we think everyone will enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what new and improved this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the home page &#8220;<strong>Agenda<\/strong>&#8220;, you can now change the date to peek ahead at tomorrow&#8217;s agenda (or backwards to see yesterday&#8217;s).<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<strong>Billable Hours<\/strong>&#8221; report now includes a grand total at the bottom of the report.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re accepting credit cards with Stripe and you charge a &#8220;<strong>Convenience fee<\/strong>&#8221; for online payments, the convenience fee details are now automatically captured and added to the family account.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<strong>Lessons Taught<\/strong>&#8221; report now has an option so that you can create an &#8220;<strong>Hours Taught<\/strong>&#8221; report. It shows the same information but sums up the total number of hours per month\/student\/etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Changes for Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When entering Payroll payments, the &#8220;<strong>Expense Category<\/strong>&#8221; is now remembered for future payments.<\/li>\n<li>Teachers now have an &#8220;<strong>Instrument<\/strong>&#8221; field in their profiles. If Instrument is specified for teachers in your studio, the Sign-Up form will convert the &#8220;<strong>Instrument<\/strong>&#8221; field to a drop-down list, and the calendar 2.0 will group teachers by instrument in &#8220;<strong>Timeline<\/strong>&#8221; view.<\/li>\n<li>The calendar 2.0 now has the option to display events by Location in &#8220;<strong>Day<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Timeline<\/strong>&#8221; view.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s now a tiny bit of spacing between events on calendar 2.0 to match the look of the v1 calendar.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Timeline<\/strong>&#8221; can now be selected as a default calendar view in your &#8220;<strong>My Preferences<\/strong>&#8221; page.<\/li>\n<li>On the teacher profile page, there is now an &#8220;<strong>Attendance<\/strong>&#8221; column on the &#8220;<strong>Payroll<\/strong>&#8221; tab to make it easier to spot check the teacher&#8217;s attendance history.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<strong>Payroll<\/strong>&#8221; report also has a new &#8220;<strong>Attendance<\/strong>&#8221; option that includes the attendance if the Payroll Details are turned on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope you enjoy this week\u2019s updates.
