Check out some of these and other updates below:<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-a477a7a9\"><div class=\"gb-inside-container\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Student Portal &amp; Booking<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On mobile, the Student Portal calendar now scrolls to display the date details when you tap a day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue that was preventing Practice Log entries from being edited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All-day events no longer display as options on the Book from Calendar form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration fees are now correctly displayed in the subtotal when adding additional students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue that was preventing substitute teachers from appearing on public booking forms when more than one category is filtered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-0dbeb553 gb-headline-text\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Calendar &amp; Attendance<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We&rsquo;ve made improvements to the calendar to improve loading times<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dragging an event in the calendar will adjust the time by 5 minute increments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Event pop-up messages on the calendar now properly display email and SMS reminder icons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calendar syncing to Outlook now works as expected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inactive students can no longer be searched for in the calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We updated the ability to swipe the calendar to be consistent between iOS and Android<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue that was causing the mobile calendar to appear to start on a Wednesday<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Events in Agenda View now scroll to their scheduled time when added or updated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dragging an event that has an attached weekly hold timeslot to a day more than 7 days ago no longer automatically removes the hold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now use the enter key to select a student from the attendees list when creating a new calendar event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now copy the calendar feed URL directly from the options menu to facilitate calendar syncing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating new events in Day View now defaults to the date selected instead of today&rsquo;s date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an error that was occurring when trying to move a recurring event too far into the future<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When updating the details of an event in a series, the default selection is now to only update and consider the details of the current lesson and to prompt whether future events should be updated too<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We fixed an issue where creating a Quick Add Lesson was using the teacher&rsquo;s default category instead of the student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lessons can no longer be dragged-and-dropped to a teacher that a student has an inactive billing profile with (and a warning will appear if attempted)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed an error that was occurring when trying to create a new non-teaching event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We improved the functionality of events with no teachers assigned, including removing the option to select Student Default as a pricing option, improving filters &amp; displays, and fixing issues with saving an event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-27787557 gb-headline-text\"><span><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(45, 168, 224);\">Teachers &amp; Staff<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A warning now appears when trying to add a new teacher or staff member with the same name\/email as one that already exists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teachers with \u201cEdit Own Lessons\u201d permission can now delete and\/or clone entire days (as long as all the lessons in the day are theirs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teachers with the privilege to view (but not manage) other teachers can now filter the calendar by teacher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-388b4aea gb-headline-text\"><strong><strong style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">General\/Other<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We updated the Add Transactions menu so that families are now alphabetical, searchable, and load faster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various cosmetic tweaks throughout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<blockquote><div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you have any questions or require assistance with your account, please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@mymusicstaff.com\">support@mymusicstaff.com<\/a><\/div><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This month we made some significant behind-the-scenes improvements to our calendar, including speeding things up, fixing some issues and improving quality of life!
