If you don&rsquo;t already know, the login widget allows your students to login from a 3rd party hosted website (like a WordPress blog). Today&rsquo;s update dramatically improves the login widget in a few ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your students can now request a <strong>password reset directly from your site<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Failed log in<\/strong> attempts are now handled directly on your site<\/li>\n<li>If your students use the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Remember Me<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb checkbox, they can log <strong>back into the site in one-click<\/strong> (this makes it much easier to access the Practice Log)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To use the new widget, embed the following code on your page:<\/p>\n<pre>&lt;script src=\"https:\/\/login.mymusicstaff.com\/widget\/v2\/Login.ashx\" type=\"text\/javascript\"&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;<\/pre>\n<p>If your website is hosted with My Music Staff then you already have this update! Here&rsquo;s what new:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We changed the default date range used when creating invoices so that the next month is pre-selected if you&rsquo;re invoicing after the 15th of the month<\/li>\n<li>We changed the <strong>title<\/strong> displayed in the <strong>Student Portal<\/strong> to the<strong> name of your studio<\/strong> (instead of the title of your website)<\/li>\n<li>When you clone an event from the calendar, it no longer clones the student lesson notes<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve added a <strong>chart<\/strong> to the <strong>Expenses and Other Income<\/strong> page so you can see past and future (predicted) income<\/li>\n<li>We fixed a number of minor issues with the calendar (the pop-ups are more reliable and we fixed a problem with leap-year birthdays)<\/li>\n<li>The PDF version of the student list has been updated so that the parents are listed with each student<\/li>\n<li>On the<strong> Student Email<\/strong> page \u00a0we <strong>merged the \u00ab\u00a0Students\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Parents\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> drop down lists into one, and added \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Teachers<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb as an option for multi-teacher studios<\/li>\n<li>We fixed the Agenda report so that \u00ab\u00a0All Day\u00a0\u00bb events now actually display \u00ab\u00a0All Day\u00a0\u00bb<\/li>\n<li>We added a \u00ab\u00a0<strong>%Duration%<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb placeholder to the <strong>Event Reminder<\/strong> emails so students can tell how long their lessons are<\/li>\n<li>You can now mark students as <strong>Active\/Inactive in bulk<\/strong> from the bottom of the Student list page<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve updated the font faces in all the reports and invoices so that they are Unicode friendly (for members using languages that don&rsquo;t use Latin characters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>And finally, next Monday (August 4th) is a holiday up here in Canada. To accommodate the holiday weekend and staff vacation time, there will be<strong> no regularly scheduled update next week<\/strong>.
