{"id":33321,"date":"2018-02-21T16:10:37","date_gmt":"2018-02-21T21:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/?p=33321"},"modified":"2018-02-21T16:10:37","modified_gmt":"2018-02-21T21:10:37","slug":"happy-fix-it-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/fr\/happy-fix-it-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Fix-It Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-32275\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/mms-update-01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/mms-update-01.png 484w, https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/mms-update-01-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fix-It Day might not be an official holiday, but here at My Music Staff we decided you might like a pick-me-up after the long weekend.<\/p>\n<p>And so, we&rsquo;ve made some changes!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">New Features:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building on last week&rsquo;s changes, you can now create a <strong>Student Details Report<\/strong> with blank lines so that parents\/students can fill in missing information and return it to you.<\/li>\n<li>When you delete a lesson from the <strong>Calendar<\/strong>, we&rsquo;ve added the ability to notify the affected parents and students by SMS message (prior to this change it was email only). There is a new SMS template for Cancelled Events that is used for this.<\/li>\n<li>If you have \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Show Balance on Daily Agenda<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb turned on, it will no longer suppress $0 balances. This was causing some confusion, so it&rsquo;s consistently displayed ($0 balance or not).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #2da8e0;\">Bug Fixes:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve improved the logic behind the sign-up widget to fix a handful of underlying issues:\n<ul>\n<li>When existing parents\/students complete the form, they&rsquo;re now matched more accurate with their existing entries. This change was made to fix a number of false-positive matches that a handful of users reported.<\/li>\n<li>When a parent signs up multiple students, their credit card information will no longer be duplicated on their file.<\/li>\n<li>If you were on a slow connection, the sign-up widget would sometimes briefly display an error message at the top of the form when it was being submitted (even if there was no error). This has been corrected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>An error message would be displayed if you view the <strong>Student Portal<\/strong> as a student with no email address. This has been fixed.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the <strong>Student List<\/strong> download that was preventing phone numbers and\/or email addresses from displaying for some adult students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2da8e0;\"><strong>For Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the <strong>Teacher Details<\/strong> page, admins can now set the preferences for the individual teachers (such as the <strong>Daily Agenda<\/strong> email time, etc.).
