We&rsquo;ve made a few changes to the My Music Staff provided widgets and much more. Take a look below for the full list of updates and fixes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve backtracked slightly on a feature we released a few weeks ago. Instead of copying the lesson notes between students for group lessons, we&rsquo;ve added a new \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Group Note<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb feature. When you take attendance for a group lesson, you&rsquo;ll now see a 4th note tab labeled \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Group Note<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0. The group note is shared between all students, that makes it easy to update\/correct the group note across all students. Private notes to individuals can still be left in the <strong>Student Note\/Parent Note<\/strong> fields (these are not shared with the group).<\/li>\n<li>You can now remove the <strong>Login Widget<\/strong> from your My Music Staff hosted website&rsquo;s sidebar. This is great for teachers who aren&rsquo;t using the <strong>Student Portal<\/strong>, but still wish to use the <strong>Sidebar<\/strong>. We also added a new \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Login\u00a0\u00bb page template<\/strong> that automatically displays the login widget in the center of the page.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the <strong>Registration Widget<\/strong> that would prevent it from scrolling back to the top (so your customers could see your \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Thank You<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb message after registering).<\/li>\n<li>If you&rsquo;re using the Student Portal in an iframe (against our recommendation, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/knowledgebase\/can-i-embed-the-my-music-staff-student-portal-in-an-iframe\/\">iFrame FAQ<\/a>), we&rsquo;ll automatically hide the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Sign-Up<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb links so that your parents and students don&rsquo;t accidentally create teacher accounts.<\/li>\n<li>The \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Account Balance Display<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb option has been renamed \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Default Balance Date<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb for clarity under <strong>Studio Settings &gt; Accounts &amp; Invoices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The calendar should no longer jump the time when you scroll between dates in Week\/Day view (this was a problem with wide displays).<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve added a \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Show Inactive<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb button to the <strong>Families &amp; Invoices<\/strong> page to make it easier to get into an <strong>Inactive Family<\/strong>&lsquo;s account.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the <strong>SMS Event Reminder<\/strong> that was causing it to incorrectly use the lesson&rsquo;s start time as the end time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&rsquo;re using the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Auto-Active<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb feature with your My Music Staff website (or the <strong>Sign-Up widget<\/strong>), students are now automatically assigned, either to all teachers, or to teachers that match their instrument preference (if available).<\/li>\n<li>The reports now all allow you to optionally select inactive teachers.<\/li>\n<li>The option to hide unused teachers on the calendar is now a sticky preference, so if you turn this calendar feature on, it will remain \u00ab\u00a0Sticky\u00a0\u00bb even if you log out and log back into My Music Staff.<\/li>\n<li>We added \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Instrument<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb to the list of available columns on the <strong>Teachers &amp; Admins<\/strong> list page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Did you know? <\/strong>If your studio is using <strong>Auto-Pay<\/strong>, the <strong>Invoice Email Template<\/strong> will now automatically replace the \u201c<strong>Click here to pay this invoice<\/strong>\u201d link with a message that says \u201c<strong>This invoice will be automatically paid using\u2026<\/strong>\u201d if auto-pay is successful. We hope this change will cut down on some of the confusion that families using auto-pay experience when they receive their invoice emails.
