This week&rsquo;s update includes a lot of everything. The most notable being scheduling \u00ab\u00a0Make-Up Required\u00a0\u00bb lessons and adding new students. Take a look at this week&rsquo;s list of changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We changed the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>New Default Lesson<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb shortcut on the calendar so that it now has a \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Make-Up Required<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb checkbox. This makes schedule make-up lessons much faster since you no longer need to go to the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>New Event<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page.<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve improved the <strong>Student Details<\/strong> page (and <strong>New Student<\/strong> page) by hiding unused optional fields. This reduces the clutter on that page, particularly for teachers who are only using 2 or 3 fields of student info.<\/li>\n<li>The daily agenda report now includes the day name for Canadian locales (i.e. \u00ab\u00a0Monday\u00a0\u00bb).<\/li>\n<li>During the online payment process, there is now an option to enable auto-pay if the parent chooses to store their card on file.<\/li>\n<li>When setting up a new website with a custom background, the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Stretch<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb background mode is now the default selection (it was nothing prior to this change).<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve added email templates for failed ACH payments.<\/li>\n<li>If an ACH payment from a student fails, the $4 NSF fee is now automatically added to the family account.<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve added a new SMS reminder for failed auto-payments.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the <strong>New Student<\/strong> page that would prevent the email address field for the second parent from appearing.<\/li>\n<li>When you click on a field with placeholder text (i.e. \u00ab\u00a0<strong>(Optional)<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0) the text now disappears even before you begin to type. This was confusing to some users.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the SMS invoice\/reminder messages which would cause them to only be sent if the parent had SMS reminders turned on. This feature is now independent of SMS event reminders; as long as \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Texting Allowed<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb is enabled for one of the parent numbers and you have SMS invoice\/invoice reminders enabled for your studio these SMS messages will be sent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Did you know? <\/strong>We\u2019ve added the ability to send an <strong>SMS invoice notification<\/strong> (and payment receipt for families using auto-pay). For this feature to work, you\u2019ll need to enable it in your <strong>Studio Settings<\/strong> page and ensure that the parent has at least one phone number setup with \u201c<strong>Texting Allowed<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you require technical assistance please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@mymusicstaff.com\">support@mymusicstaff.com.<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Everyone!
