We&rsquo;ve made some great improvements to family contacts that we know\u00a0you&rsquo;ll love!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>We&rsquo;ve added the ability to have more than 2 parents per family<\/strong>. Now you can add as many parents\/contacts as the modern family requires.<\/li>\n<li>The \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Families &amp; Accounts<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page no longer lists \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Primary<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Secondary<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb family contacts; these have been merged into a single field (that will show all the parent contact info for as many parents as that family has).<\/li>\n<li>On touch devices, the calendar popup menu will no longer &lsquo;click&rsquo; one of the menu items if the popup menu appears under your click area (this affected devices with smaller screens).<\/li>\n<li>There&rsquo;s a new setting under \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Studio Settings<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Messaging<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb that allows your <strong>Lesson Notes<\/strong> to be sent from the studio email address (rather than the teacher&rsquo;s).<\/li>\n<li>We&rsquo;ve enhanced the notes provided in the email that is sent to the teacher when a lesson is cancelled by the student through the Student Portal.<\/li>\n<li>The payments listed on the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Recent Payments<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb tab of the <strong>Families &amp; Invoices<\/strong> page can now be sorted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Student Portal Changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are two new options for the Student Portal available under \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Studio Settings<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>General<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0. They are:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Initial Page<\/strong> &#8211; This option allows you to<strong> change the default page when students first log in<\/strong> from the Calendar to the Studio News page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Initial Calendar View<\/strong> &#8211; This option allows you to <strong>change the preferred calendar mode for your students<\/strong> from Monthly to Week or Day view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Student Names are now displayed directly on the calendar<\/strong>. For families with multiple students this should make it easier to read the calendar.<\/li>\n<li>No more \u00ab\u00a0I didn&rsquo;t knows\u00a0\u00bb: When cancelling a lesson with less notice that required by your cancellation policy, <strong>there&rsquo;s a new checkbox the student\/parent must check off acknowledging the time before the lesson can be cancelled<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For studios that teach lessons in multiple timezones: When students join a series of lessons online, the popup window now displays the lesson times in the student&rsquo;s timezone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Did you know?\u00a0<\/strong>The calendar now displays a notification when the filter is active (so you can more easily tell when you&rsquo;re viewing a filtered version of your calendar).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you require technical assistance please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@mymusicstaff.com\">support@mymusicstaff.com.<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Everyone!
