For example, if you&rsquo;re a studio that only issues a maximum of 2 credits per term, you&rsquo;d set the maximum number of credits to \u00ab\u00a02\u00a0\u00bb and the start date to the first day of your term. At the start of the NEXT term, you&rsquo;d change the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Start Date<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb to that new date. This feature <strong>ONLY affects lessons cancelled through the student portal<\/strong>. As the teacher, you can always override the limit by marking the attendance \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Absent, Give Make-Up<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb for extenuating circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>When a lesson is converted to an \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Open Make-up Slot<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, your cancellation policy can now automatically switch the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Event Category<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0. This is great for studios who like to color code their make-up slots differently (or simply wish to change the original category to something more generic).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the homepage \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Agenda<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, the popup with student notes from the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Practice Log<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb now uses the screen space more efficiently for easier reading.<\/li>\n<li>There&rsquo;s a new \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Teacher Title<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb field available in your \u00ab\u00a0<strong>My Preferences<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page so that you can store your proper title (i.e. <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Mr.\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Mrs.\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Dr.\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, etc.) . If you populate this field you can use your title in the email templates. This feature is particularly useful for multi-teacher studios who wish to use proper titles in email correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>If you explicitly assign new students to an item in the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Download Library<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, sending the email notification from that popup now only emails the newly added students.<\/li>\n<li>The \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Student Details<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb now has a new field called \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Referrer<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb for storing how the student heard about you\/your studio. The sign-up widget has also been updated so that you can turn on a \u00ab\u00a0<strong>How did you hear about us?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb field which will automatically populate the Referrer field in the database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Teachers &amp; Administrators<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page (multi-teacher studios) there is a new \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Email<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb button for quick access to emailing your teachers.<\/li>\n<li>When adding\/editing an item in the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Download Library<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, non-admin teachers cannot add students who are not assigned to them.<\/li>\n<li>The \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Payroll Report<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb now has an option to insert a page break between teachers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope you enjoy this week\u2019s updates.
