{"id":25429,"date":"2016-02-29T16:04:04","date_gmt":"2016-02-29T21:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/?p=25429"},"modified":"2016-02-29T16:04:04","modified_gmt":"2016-02-29T21:04:04","slug":"february-tune-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/fr\/february-tune-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Note-able Improvements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25481 size-full\" title=\"February 29, 2016 Weekly Updated - My Music Staff\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/mms-blog-Feb-29-2016-Copy.png\" alt=\"February 29, 2016 Weekly Updated - My Music Staff\" width=\"484\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/mms-blog-Feb-29-2016-Copy.png 484w, https:\/\/www.mymusicstaff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/mms-blog-Feb-29-2016-Copy-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><br \/>\nHi Everyone,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what\u2019s new and improved this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the home page agenda, when clicking on a student name, the drop-down list has a new option to jump straight to the student&rsquo;s \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Repertoire<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb tab.<\/li>\n<li>When taking attendance, the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>New Rep<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb field now accepts multiple rep items if you separate them with a semicolon.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue on the home page that would cause \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Piano<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb to be incorrectly pluralized as \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Pianoes<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb if you used \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Piano<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb as an Event Category name.<\/li>\n<li>On the Email History page, the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Search<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb feature now searches the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>To<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0<strong>From<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb addresses as well as the message title and body.<\/li>\n<li>We adjusted the behavior of the calendar filter so that \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Hide Full<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb now hides lessons that student&rsquo;s cannot join through the student portal if there is at least one student assigned to that lesson. This makes it easier to find open times on your calendar if you don&rsquo;t allow registration through the student portal.<\/li>\n<li>If you download your student details in Excel (CSV) format, the line-breaks in the address fields are now correctly preserved.<\/li>\n<li>The \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Balance<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb column on the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Families &amp; Invoices<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page is now colorized to help clarify the difference between a positive and negative family balance.<\/li>\n<li>If you&rsquo;re setting up a website hosted by My Music Staff with a custom domain name and you don&rsquo;t configure your settings correctly, you&rsquo;ll now see a more helpful error page\u00a0when you try to access your\u00a0website through your custom domain.<\/li>\n<li>If you use the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Location<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb feature in My Music Staff, the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Location<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb name on the calendar popup is now clickable in the student portal (just like in the teacher portal).<\/li>\n<li>When adding a new student to an existing family, the existing family drop down list no longer displays inactive families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Multi-Teacher Studios:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the teacher details \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Payroll<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb tab, the currency text no longer wraps if you live in a country that has a space between the currency symbol and the the numeric amount.<\/li>\n<li>We fixed an issue with the payroll feature that could cause old entries to linger if you manually edited the amount of a fixed monthly charge and your teachers are paid a percentage of studio revenue.<\/li>\n<li>When you add a new open lesson slot through the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>New Default Lesson<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb shortcut, the teacher&rsquo;s default Event Category is now used (instead of the studio&rsquo;s).<\/li>\n<li>We added a new option to the \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Studio Settings<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb page to optionally show the teacher&rsquo;s address in the student portal. (By default this is disabled.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope you enjoy this week\u2019s updates.
